PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Have you ever felt the rush of 50,000 volts as an electric shock
jolts through your body? Have you ever been tormented by angry
pillows in the middle of the night? Have you ever fallen off a
six story platform and lived to tell about it? Not many people
have, but you will... So put on your jogging shoes and say
goodbye to your next of kin, because you have an appointment with
the doctor!
Welcome to Dr. Sleeptite And The Nightmare Factory.
Deep in the heart of the Mojave Desert, the mad Dr. Sleeptite has
been hard at work developing a machine that creates nightmares.
No one knows where the doctor is, but his automated underground
complex still continues to produce its fiendish product.
Your job (as Restless Ralph Runabout) is to traverse six levels of
Dr. Sleeptite's Nightmare Factory, to destroy his Nightmare
Capsules, and attempt to shutdown his Dream Machine. Sounds
easy? Not when you're being chased about by the doctor's first
invention: Killer Pillows!

SCORING
300 POINTS for crossing a bridge.
500 POINTS for each Nightmare Capsule destroyed.
2000 POINTS for advancing one level.
10000 POINTS for shutting-down the mad doctor's Dream Machine.
-1000 POINTS for contact with a Power Transformer.
-1000 POINTS for contact with a Killer Pillow.
HINTS
* With a little practice, you can run past (through) Killer Pillows
while traversing certain game level areas. Unfortunately, these
areas can only be found by trial and error!
* Study the different screens before running yourself to death! Use
caution when crossing bridges. Bridges disappear once they are
crossed, and can leave you stranded if you are not careful.
* The mad Dr's. Dream Machine is destroyed upon contact by Ralph.
* Try to avoid contact with Power Transformers.
* You can jump off a level and survive, as long as you land
directly on top of a nightmare capsule.
* Avoid Acid Pits. Any contact with an Acid Pit is fatal!
* You can jump off of a fire-pole and survive, as long as you are
parallel with a solid level in the direction of the jump.
* Stand still when riding elevators! Horizontal movement can cause
ralph to lose balance, and fall off a lift.
* Before advancing to the next level, you must successfully destroy
all Nightmare Capsules on the current level, then escape through
the 'OUT' door.
